Free Printable - The Proverbs 31 Woman

The Proverbs 31 Woman...
isn’t so much a lesson on getting up
early, sewing clothes, buying a field,
or achieving perfection.

The heart of the matter is that she was
dedicated to walking in virtue. She
cared deeply for her husband and
children. She put the needs of her
family before her desires.

She was a woman of noble character
who walked by faith.

My guess is, she wasn’t perfect--none of
us are. But she was ready and willing
to be perfected by God.

You are loved by an almighty God,

  1. This is beautiful. It reminds me of a post I wrote a while back after I led the Proverbs 31 study through Good Morning Girls with a group of friends. http://aheartformyhome.blogspot.com/2012/11/proverbs-31-woman-different-view.html

  2. Thank you for that perspective! Its so easy to heap more have-to's on ourselves when we don't really have to :)

  3. So encouraging love this...printing it out and framing it. Too remind myself I am not alone and I am not perfect and that is ok!!

    Blessings,

  4. Wow, thank you so much for this. For a long time I felt discouraged reading about the wife in Proverbs 31 as I felt that I could never begin to live up to the standards laid out in this passage. Your post here puts it in a whole new perspective for me. Thanks again. Love this.
